Ford Focus MK1 1998-2001
The first generation Ford Focus was launched in 1998 and it didn’t take long until it became a huge success. Regarding the exterior, Ford was brave and introduced a new style, with curved lines, the opposite of the Ford Escort, the best-selling model at the time. Thus, thanks to the new curved appearance, the impressive handling and the equipment levels, they made the Ford Focus become the best-selling car in Great Britain in 1999 and was designated the European Car of the Year.
Also, the interior came with a new design language. The sharp lines of the instrument panel blended perfectly with the rounded shapes of the dashboard.
