Porsche Panamera I (G1) 2009-2013
Porsche has always had a passion for sports cars, but also for luxury cars, dreaming for a long time of a four-door sedan that would offer performance, comfort and space. That dream took the form of concept cars like the 989, but it didn’t become a reality until 2009, when Porsche unveiled the Porsche Panamera at the Shanghai Motor Show in either rear or all-wheel drive.
The name “Panamera” pays homage to the Carrera Panamericana race, which also inspired the iconic nickname “Carrera”.

The Panamera stood out for its elegant and aerodynamic design, inspired by the 911, but also for its refined interior and equipped with the latest technology, and the fact that it was also a hatchback gave it a large load capacity.
The Panamera had a variety of engines, from a 3.6-liter V6 from Audi, to a 4.8-liter twin-turbo V8 that fitted the Turbo version. The Panamera also had a diesel and a hybrid version, which combined a supercharged V6 with an electric motor.
Porsche Panamera I (G1) Restyling 2013-2016
In 2013, Porsche updated the Panamera, solving some problems from the first generation. It has improved the exterior appearance with new bumpers, as well as bi-xenon headlights and the option for full LED lamps. The interior was also updated.

Porsche Panamera II (G2) 2016-2020
For the second generation, Porsche knew what to do better, bringing the Panamera closer to the appearance of the 911. And it succeeded. The car looks much better, with a shorter hood and a rear that offered a more elegant and aerodynamic appearance.
The interior has been upgraded with touchscreens and touch-sensitive surfaces, as well as a 12.3-inch touchscreen with online sat-nav, Apple CarPlay integration and an updated voice control system.

The Panamera was available with a 325 hp 3-liter turbocharged V6, rear-wheel drive, or all-wheel drive.

In 2020, Porsche introduced the Facelift version for the Panamera. New was the redesigned front fascia and bumper, LED taillights and refreshed interior.

Porsche Panamera III (G3) 2023-Present
In 2023, Porsche presented the new generation Panamera, which seems to be an evolution rather than a revolution. The slightly changed design gives the sports sedan an even more expressive and sporty look. However, on a technical level the new Panamera is still excellent, adding new technologies to the suspension to keep the car steady.
It seems that the interior is still a revolution, Porsche installed a fully digital instrument cluster, above the center stack installed a touch screen for the infotainment system and one on the central console for the HVAC system. There is also the option of having a third display for the passenger.

Under the hood, the Panamera comes with a turbocharged 2.9-liter V6 that now delivers 353 hp. Above it, however, is the new Turbo E-Hybrid which debuts with an improved hybrid system.
